Certified Nurse Midwife certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board
I pursued an advanced degree and further training to provide woman centered care to those seeking a more personalized approach to health care. I have served the women of Oklahoma, Florida, and Maryland as a nurse and certified nurse midwife (CNM)
While raising my family, I pursued a BS (1995) and MS (2000) in management from Southern Nazarene University, with honors.
When the opportunity came I was able to pursue a career in nursing, I earned
Associates Degree in Nursing Oklahoma City Community College and a Master of Science degree at Frontier Nursing University with a major in midwifery
Through my career as a nurse midwife I cared for thousands of women and assisted many of them through pregnancy and birth I formed close relationships with the women their families. I found I was especially passionate about educating women in pursuing optimal health.
As a life-long learner and a firm believer in the body’s ability to heal itself if nurtured and given the proper care, I continue to pursue additional education concerning menopause, healing touch, herbal medicine for women, and functional medicine through Functional Medicine University and the Institute of Functional Medicine in order to serve women in a more holistic manner.
I have a wonderful husband, children and grandchildren and three 4 legged children Cisco, Alef and Tav. I enjoy gardening, preparing herbs, studying Hebrew, and continuing to learn more to enable me to better care for women and their families.
